What kind of media institute might distribute your media product and why?
Warner Bros
Warner Bros is a big and major conglomerate company which has and still is distributors and producers of alot of successful movies such as The Hobbit, Harry Potter and The Batman Trilogy's. We decided to not use a big and major company for our film because we wanted to have full controll of where and how our film is distrubuted and we wanted full control over how are movie looked and how it was marketed.
This kind of big company may not have distributed our film since it is a low budget film which would not compete very well against the big movies such as Batman Begins which would make the company not want to distribute because they know that they would not make as much that was put in.
Thriller Nights Production

​As our film needed as independent company to produce and distibute our film Shanae came up with the idea to make our own comapany so that we had full power and control over our film. We made a little independent company called Thriller Nights Productions which Shanae made the logo for and edited into our movie. This was good because it meant that if the movie was to sell big amounts all the money would go back to Thriller Night Production throught the sales.
This company would be likely to distribute a film like this since the genre which is thrillers is what they usually distribute and would make money for them since poeple who enjoy thrillers would watch the film and the money would go directly to them.
Warp Films is a independent film company that is based in Sheffield England. They have distributed movies such us ' This is England' and ' Midnight Beast'. They target a specific audience and social group which is the reason that their small independent films are so successful. This is the kind of distribution company that would really help distribute our film well and help it be distrubuted to our target audience.
